Can't print from IE8 - Any Ideas?

Hi all,

Hope someone out there can help. Just installed Win 7 Ultimate (Clean install) and have just discovered a problem in that I don't seem to be able to print from IE8. Blank pages with the file path (typically something like file://C:\Users\username\Appdata\Local\Temp\Low\X0TUOSK.htm where the kast string of digits is different every time) come out. Also when trying print preview you see the same blank page with file path.

Had a similar problem with Vista when first installed but it was cured by changing the integrity level of the 'low' folder. Also heard that this happened when a person moved the My Documents folder (which I have in this case, so perhaps thats the problem).

Can anyone suggest a cure please?

Until a better answer comes along, you may want to try another browser. Many here really enjoy chrome and FF. Chrome, however, is not compatible with a few websites.

OK sorted. A kind bit of advice from elsewhere said to try disabling 'protected mode' in internet options / security. Worked a treat!!
