Can't rename computer

I have Win7 Enterprise and I changed the computer name using the usual "right click, my comp..." and so on. I reboot and the name is changed, I checked by returning to the place where I changed it. The problem in the old name is still on the top when I open up the start menu. What's up here?

It normally wouldn't be a problem but my SugarSync account keeps detecting the computer by the old name.

Any ideas?

Hello and welcome....

I guess you should had done that in:

Start Menu=>Control Panel=>System=>(Under the WEI score)=>(On your right) Modify Parameters.

It will open a new Window then click down right Tab=>Modify......

Rename it then reboot and your computer will have his new name.
