Hi, I recently got my computer infected with a virus and it's unremovable as it keeps reinstalling, even with adwcleaner and MalwareBytes, so I want to restore it. Ive looked through forums and it said use the option in control panel, but I can't find that. Another told me to press f8 before it started, but that still didn't work. Any tips? Windows 7 Home Premium, Dell Inspirion N4010 if that helps.

"When the Dell logo appears on the screen, press F8 several times to open the Advanced Boot Options menu."
Anymore ways to do it?

The trigger sequence for F8 to work can be tricky.

You might have to hold it down; you might have to press maybe once per second; maybe every two seconds, etc. Vary your attempts.

I'm assuming F8 is the right key.

Try a Restart whilst holding the Shift key down. If you can't get to the power button, try CTL+ALT+DEL. There is a button on the bottom right. You have to click the little arrow (not the power-off icon).
