card reader needs driver please help

Hi i have a gericom 1st supersonic pci e laptop which came with windows xp,i have just upgraded to windows 7 the only thing that doesnt work is the built in card reader,i have searched everywhere for a drive but cant seem to find one, if anyone has a driver or knows where to get one from it would be gladly appreciated.

Or you could go to device manager rigt click on device>properties>details tab> drop down menu? hardware id> copy and paste the id string and maybe we can find a compatible driver . Most of them are Ricoh or Texas instruments. So it is possible to find one that wil work. Welcome to seven best of luck. Fabe
