Card reader with network printer

I have a HP Officejet 7410 Aii-In-One, it has a built-in card reader.
When the device is connected through USB port, the card reader works fine.
Now, the device is connected through the network (I need USB port for other device), it still works fine but no memory card will be read through the card reader.
Any way to make it work through the network?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I can add that, but what I need to learn is how to make that card reader to be read when the printer is connected through the network.
But thanks any way.

Hiya pal

When you run windows explorer do you have a network connection like mine in the pic (1) If you do then when you plug a memory card into one of the slots in the printer you should be able to access it by double clicking on the icon (2) (but it won't be accessible unless there's a card plugged in)

Your picture is hard to see, I cannot read the line you circle.
On my windows explorer, it does show "Network", but that folder only contains all the hard drives and 2 printers connected to the system. On the printer that has the card reader, it shows nothing.

Have found the problem: my driver is not up to date. When I update the driver, problem solve.
