Hi everyone,
I've been looking through dozens of forums etc to find solutions to as why CCC.exe wont run.
My system is a HP G62 notebook pc with an AMD/ATI 4250 Radeon Mobility graphics card (if you want to call it a graphics card) and am running the 13.1 legacy driver (Note. I've tried to install the 13.4 beta driver but it failed for a different reason)
I have recently started attaching a 26" HD TV via HDMI and I am not a fan of the Windows screen resolutions available, so I want adjust it using CCC, which of course wont run, just the loading wheel turning and CCC.exe, CLI.exe and MOM.exe all running in task manager then shutting off.
I have tried many possible solutions.
I have tried the solution found here: Problems with installing Catalyst Control Center - Discussion
I removed the program itself, ensured that the relevant registry was empty, the file locations were empty etc as instructed in numerous places. However, the most common instruction from most sources is to remove the key from the GAC, this key shown in the instructions isn't in my assembly folder? Regardless of whether or not CCC is installed. I was wondering if this may be an issue unique to myself and causing the issue?
I have updated my .NET to 4.5, also worth noting.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated
Alex
