First of all, yes, I've seen this tutorial:

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/21233-taskbar-change-icon-button-width-size.html

It is not what I need. I need to change the minimum size of minimized windows. Because asd I am greatly annoyed by Taskbar Thumbnail Preview, I've disabled it (and grouping as well). And now I can't tell which folder is which, because Microsoft decided to shrink all minimized windows to the size of an atom:

Idiots at Microsoft probably expect me to be a mind reader and guess which folder is which, but I'm not a mind reader. I need to see at least the first letter (not just an icon) to have an idea of what folder I am looking at.

Any way to edit the minimum size of a minimized window?

first off--if you mouse over one of the minimized windows--you should get a flyout with the folder name-without the annoying thumbnail preview--all of this can be controlled from the 'taskbar and start menu properties'.

secondly--don't blame MS because you haven't spent enough time to figure out how to customize the 'most customizable' version ever created (IMO)--thats like blaming the manufacturer of your vehicle because of the way you drive :)
