How do I change the width of just the pinned icons in the taskbar

How do I change the width of just the pinned icons in the taskbar, and not mess with the size of the programs that I have open?
Currently all my pinned icons are huge, and are about a 1/4 of the way across the task bar.

Right Click on the task bar & select Properties, on the window that opens tick Use Small Icons which is under the Task Bar tab, then select Apply & see if the results suit you.

First option changes the icon width in the task bar for open windows, not the icon size in the pinned taskbar.

those are the same as above, doesnt change the icon size that is pinned.
