Changing windows classic taskbar colour?

I've been using windows classic over basic/aero due to streaming purposes (streaming with aero creates issues and I'm not a fan of basic), I like a darker/dark grey theme most of the time as it's easier on the eyes and the bright white windows classic taskbar is a bit of a pain, but I can't figure out a way to change it via personalize\windows colour or anything else.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated, I also can't find a darker/greyish classic theme anywhere, a pure black one would probably annoy me even more but just a darker grey like what I've done to my windows borner would be perfect, thanks!

Try Option Two step #7 of this tutorial http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/282-window-color-appearance-change.html and change the color at 3D Objects will change the taskbar color

It works but it changes everything to black/grey and makes a lot of things hard to read, I was hoping just to change the taskbar.

You're Welcome you are very limited to what can be changed on the classic theme.
