Changing windows start orb, start orb looks like static

I'm trying to change my start orb to this...

However, even though it changes without stating any errors, it does not display
as i expected it to. It has a weird static look to it.

I'm using Windows 7 start orb changer v5 by doors to windows,
I have no idea if this is the best one available could someone please tell me
either whats going wrong or suggest a better start orb changer to use.

For me I make sure all the orbs are located with the same folder
