Good afternoon,

Can anyone recommend a FREE Broadband speed checker [from the numerous ones available out there] that they know [and have personally used] to be accurate please?
I am awaiting a new Hub [delivery is today] and would like to check what my Broadband speed is currently so that I can compare it.

EDIT: I should probably mention that my ISP is BT [UK].

I don't know if it covers the UK, but http://www.speedtest.net is what most that I know of use.
However, check with your ISP and see if they have one specifically for internal of the ISP, also.
If you use a network type such as speedtest, it checks overall from the distant end server to your PC and that speed can vary and may even not be close to what the ISP to your modem's speed is or supposed to be.

I used the speedtest.net that you both recommended and came up with an average download and upload speed [mbps]. I then ran the ISP's [BT] own speed test which gave me virtually exactly the same results as above.
