Hey Dog! Why do you think it's slow?
Have you done anything to try to speed it up?
Why do you think a RE-Install will make it run any faster? That won't add ram, or speed up the HD.
Those things are fixed at a certain speed. And, your CPU will run at the same speed from now till forever.
If it's gotten slower since the first install, it's only YOUR fault. (sorry about that. I'm not intending to offend.) Proper PC maintenance will keep a system running as good as new for many years.
PC maintenance has been my speciality for over 40 years. The more junk that piles up on your HD, the slower you system will become.
It's not unusual for me to go in to a customer's home and a PC that's had no maintenance for several years, or since NEW, and I'll delete hundreds of thousands of temp files, tracking cookies and .bak and .~mp files, and do a little performance tweaking and my customer will say something like, "WOW, it's not run that fast since it was new!". (I know, it's what I do!)
That's just expected, not something new and different.
I do a full maintenance on my own system at least once a week. And some preventive maintenance is done automatically on a daily basis, by batch files and scripts in my Startup folder, that clean out junk files and force a new System Restore Point.
You're reminding me of the rich man that would trade off his Cadillac when the ash tray got full.
So you'll re-install Windows and then let your PC get right back into the poor shape that you're in now.:sarc:
If I remember correctly, you're wanting to become a Computer Tech. ??? The first step is learning how to fix or maintain your own system. If you want help, ASK! I'd be glad to help you.
Have a good day now,
