Hi,

Windows 7 Service Pack 1 for x64-based Systems (KB976932) for my computer fails to install successfully. IT gives me Error details: Code 800B0100

I have run CheckSUR and do not know what to do - as it lists various problems that need fixing before I can run SP1;

(I am running OS: windows 7 Home Premium and System Type: x-64 based PC).

I am tearing my hair out, as I have no idea how to clear this problem.

Any help appreciated.

Kind Regards

Mike9inch

Hello there,

Have you try to run a SFC /SCANNOW command to repair the corrupted files?

Could be wise to run aswell the System Update Readiness Tool (All supported x64-based versions of Windows 7 package) for it to check after Windows Update installation errors .

Mike...

I've uploaded a file - m9iaa.zip - to my SkyDrive at Noel's SkyDrive
Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder m9iaa in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be one folder inside it ( Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.
