clean install using system image

I was wondering if you do a disk wipe of my hard drive can i then do a reinstall of the system using the disk image i created

No, you will only need to boot from your Windows 7 installation disc to do this as in the tutorial link above.

Just be sure you used Windows 7 Backup Center "Create a System Image"
