When I went to install my HP 960 printer, Win7 initially reported no drivers, but there is a link you can press on that page that will search a more extended driver set at MS, and doing that, I was able to see a HUGE list of printer drivers -- one of which was an HP 960 Windows 7 driver (from MS).

I believe I used the Vista 64 drivers as I'm using Win 7 64-bit. You also do not mention if you're directly connecting with USB or network via ethernet.

If ethernet (as such in my case), I successfully connected like I always have.
Add New Printer:
1. Select local printer
2. Create a new port - standard TCP/IP.
3. Enter correct IP
4. Choose have disk and point to drivers you already extracted.

I recall you have to extract the first set of files from the .exe that HP gives you (via winzip).

I also have a HP 2600n printer, and can not seem to get it to work on the network. The only driver I can find is the USB setup, there is no mention on how to get the Printer to work on a network. I have tried installing the vista 32 bit install and it installs but does not print, Tried a few of the closest driver that came in windows with the same result, the print file shows up in the Que for a scond then is gone and nothing is printing. If anyone has got this printer to work on a network with win 7 please post how you did it.
