7301 - check if the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service is running

Click rb: type services.msc inside the Search box and press enter . If you get the User Access Control window click Yes . Inside the Services window check to see of the service is running . If not right-click and choose Start .

Do you have a Razer keyboard or mouse ?

the windows media player network sharing service is running, status shows started. Yes i do have a razer keyboard and mouse.

Try to update the software that you installed for it

i reinstalled the razer software and the com surrogate still loads and closes itself.

How many dllhost files running inside the processes tab inside the Task Manager ?

at the moment I have no dllhost files running.

Do you have daemon tools ? That program causes a lot of issues with BSODs. You could take a look at the BSOD threads and see how many people have Daemon Tools .

I was referring to the com surrogate properties

yea i do have daemon tools installed without any issues yet. thats the properties i get when i right click com surrogate on task manager.

Do you have any video codecs ? If so might want to update them

i have the shark007 codecs installed and updated. heres a screenshot of the program with the dllhost com surrogate running.

That looks normal. Does the computer act up in any way ?

the computer does not act up in any way, it just keeps showing the mouse cursor loading a background program whenever the com surrogate loads. It never did that before so I went to task manager to see what was loading in the background. It would keep opening and closing through out the day which it never did before.
