For the BSOD issue, no next step right now. It was a very old driver, so it was supposed to cause lots of BSODs. Now the latest driver is applied. So it is the time to wait and observe how the system runs now.

Let us know the situation after one week or the appearance of the next BSOD, whichever is earlier.

Then we will think for the next step.

Can you take a snippet of task manager's processes? As well as what your startup entries are?

Have you done standard maintenance like disk cleanup and disk defrag?

Before I saw your post my friend told me to run a disk dskchk with the command processor (is that disk cleanup?) so I did and it said something about something using the disk and that it had to restart into order to do the check. I restarted, but there was a BSOD after the computer was shutting down for 10 minutes or so. When the system restarted there was a crash report but I stupidly clicked checked for solutions and forgot about saving a report. I then ran another disk check and the computer restarted fine and began the disk check. I left for a while to wait for the disk check to finish and when I came back, it was over and my logon screen was up. When I logged on, my icons still flashed and the avg firewall turned off for a second and turned itself back on and the occasional blue loading circle still appeared by my mouse. However, my computer is having less disk spikes and far less network spikes as seen in the pictures I have attached.

I analyzed the disk for fragmentation and it is 0% fragmented.

I am thinking about doing a factory reset because there's nothing important on my computer that isn't already saved to the cloud. I have a factory reset disc that came with my computer. If I were to do a factory reset, should I reset with the disc or without it? I searched around online and apparently some viruses can survive a factory reset if they reside in the master boot record or BIOS. Is that a likely a possibility?

About my startup entries, there are no random blue loading circles and no blink of my desktop when I shut down my computer using safe mode. I have attached pictures of my startup entries.

Stop Roxio Burner from loading at startup. It isn't needed to run in the background. You can start it manually when you need it.

BTW, I believe this program is coming from the "Command Center"
