We have 4 tills operating under Windows 7- all 4 are connected to a wired network and we have a backup 3 3G hotspot which we use incase of connection outages.
One of the computers has recently had to have the operating system reinstalled, and ever since, it has been unable to find the backup hotspot. It can see other wireless networks, and even other hotspots, but not the backup for some unknown reason. The other 3 tills can see it fine.
I have looked into everything I can think of- even reinstalled the wireless adapter drivers- no luck. What confuses me most is that it worked prior to the OS reinstallation- which rules out a lot of diagnostic conclusions- but this also opens a fair few up- but I don't have a clue where to start with it.
Any advice or a nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers guys,
Sean
