Solved Computer Chair ?

I need a proper computer chair (using a dining table chair ATM - and it makes my bottom ache !) I have looked at lots ranging from £40 to £300 and the variety is confusing so can anyone please recommend a chair that they use, appreciate any help, thank you

I simply use a leather office chair.

I use the number two Office Star leather chair but people really like the mesh back chairs.

If you have a PC World near you, they have a very comfy computer chair for £35. One of my flatmates at Uni bought it, and if I didn't already have a computer chair, I'd have definitely bought it myself.

Edit: Just had a look on pcworld.co.uk and they have decent chairs on there.

I used to toy with the idea of getting a 2nd hand dentists' chair. You could mount your monitor overhead and tilt the chair however which way you liked. Bonus water fountain to drink from too Problem is you're actually sorta lying down and it's probably not good for your back in the long run.



Lying down is comfortable, though.

That looks like one we use here at work... actually i believe i am sitting in that one... after a few hours it gets painful and I end up having to walk around.

Hope you like your chair Ciara, I've had my chair from Viking and it looks similar to the one you've ordered, my husbands is the same.

Don't forget though to take regular breaks from sitting in front of the computer, you may feel comfortable but it's always best to not sit for too long.

I have an office chair but still have to use pillows to be able to sit for very long... might want to try that if you still find it uncomfortable.
