Computer Desktop, Only showing background except the icons

On September 18, around 5:30 P.M. I was turning on my computer and went to my room because I had to find my phone. After I got out my room, I forgot that it automatically runs CHKDSK and I left it alone since it was already running. After the CHKDSK, it restarted my computer and everything was good up to the screen where it showed 2 of my accounts, then when I logged onto one of the accounts. It didn't show any of the icons or shortcuts of the programs I've installed on the computer and so I tried doing Ctrl+Alt+Del and pressed "Run Task Manager" but Task Manager didn't even open. So I log on to the other account but still showed the same result.

Check disk (chkdsk) doesn't run automatically unless it detects a potential disk problem.'

Please use the following to retrieve the check disk log

Click on Start
Type "Event Viewer" without quotes and launch the Event Viewer.
In the left navigation pane, under the Windows Logs folder, select Application
In the right Actions pane, launch the "Filter Current Log..."
Under Event Sources, choose Winit
Click OK
On the filtered list, go to entries at the time of CHKDSK and look through them for the CHKDSK log
In order to look through each one, you actually have to double-click each entry to open up the details

That's also a problem, the start button doesn't do anything...

Boot from a Win 7 installation disk, go to repair and launch a CMD window. Type
Dir c:
If C: is your windows partition type
chkdsk c: /f

Pay attention on the results, specially bad blocks and / or bad clusters

Yes, but it did say Chkdsk can't continue in read only

Did you use the Win 7 installation disk, went to repair, launched a CMD, found the drive with dir cmd and it said it can't continue in read mode?
