About 2-5 minutes after I login to the administrator account on my laptop, the computer becomes sluggish and extremely slow, and sometimes ends in a KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR blue screen of death. All of the running programs, taskbar, and desktop will stop responding, but the mouse cursor remains fine. Before this point however, the laptop works fine as normal.
This problem does not occur in safe mode (I am typing this on safe mode right now). However, I have reinstalled Windows 7 completely several times, and this issue continues to persist.
Any suggestions? I have tried booting up in clean boot and the first option of chkdsk (the second option results in it hanging on a file in Step 4 of 5. I have left it running overnight for ~10 hours and it has not budged from there).
