Solved Computer freezes after loading CLASSPNP.sys

So, I RMAd the processor, and wouldn't ya know it, exact same problem. At this point I've tried 3 different drivers on a totally fresh installation of windows with nothing connected and nothing else installed. It almost has to be the motherboard now, doesn't it? There's nothing else that could possibly be causing problems because nothing else is connected.

New motherboard did not fix it. Every part in this computer has now been changed out except the power supply and the case, and it still exhibits the exact same problem: After installing graphics drivers, it will not boot, period. I am absolutely and utterly clueless at this point, it's like it's possessed.

So it crashes in safe mode whilst loading the classpnp.sys module?

You can try a repair install if you still have the disc, a clean install would probably be best at this point.

No, it crashes while loading the intel graphics driver. It is a fresh reinstall already.

7 fresh installs of windows, 2 motherboards, 2 processors, 2 sets of RAM, 2 hard drives, and FINALLY I've got it working by putting in the video card out of my old computer. Why on earth replacing the entire computer didn't work, but that did, is beyond me, but it's working now. I'd still kind of like to puzzle out WHY it wasn't working, but I'm so sick of this thing I'm not sure I really want to.
