Computer freezes on tooltips or popups

Hi friends,

i have a weird issue with my computer. my computer often freezes when i am working and this is really ruining my life. right in the middle of work the computer freezes. i have noticed that whenever the computer freezes there is a tooltip or a popup balloon in the software i am working or in the windows.

i7 2600, 12gb ram, intel dh67bl mobo, 500 watts smps.

I don't know what to do to resolve this issue. pls help me out with this.

I don't know if this is the right place for this thread as this is my first thread.

Work through the Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 starting with establishing a Clean Boot, all checks for infection and then browser add-ons, SFC, RAM test, HD test, resolving errors and queued problems.
