I have been having this problem for about a year now where my computer hangs for a few seconds and then resumes. During the 'freeze', I can still move my mouse, but programs stall or won't open until the freeze is 'over'. If there is a media player playing, it'll freeze and loop the audio or just crash completely. When I'm listening to music, It'll stop and then resume after the freeze. The problem never leads to BSOD or anything, but it's getting pretty annoying.
I have run chkdsk several times and there were no errors and I'm sure all of my drivers are updated.
Anyone know what the problem may be?
