Last night there was a huge lightning storm near my house that caused the power to go out, and when it came back my computer refused to power on. It was plugged into a surge protector, but I figured the lightning had somehow zapped the power supply anyway. So I went and bought a new power supply, reconnected it to everything, and the computer STILL doesn't power on. The light next to the power switch doesn't even light up. What could still be causing the problem? Even if the motherboard were zapped, wouldn't the computer itself still power on? What can I do to find out where the issue is coming from?

EDIT: I just took it into a shop to have it looked at. Now how do I delete this thread...?
