I have been trying to figure this out for a while now and can't find what the problem is, I have just bought a new CPU (AMD FX-6300) and a new Motherboard (Asus M5A97 r2.0) and the computer just randomly crashes.

*update: I thought that it was that my computer wasn't getting enough power so i decided to get a new PSU* When i put them into my case i didn't have the 8 pin power connector for the board so i went out and bought an OCZ ZS Series 650W and put it in, but the computer still randomly crashes.

The crashes can be in random places and i'm surprised i can actually post this thread. ill put my specs below but i'm really confused on the reasoning.

CPU: AMD FX-6300 6 core 3.5GHz (not OC)
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 8GB (2x4GB)
MB: Asus M5A97 r2.0
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 440 1GB
PSU: OCZ ZS Series 650W
HDD: Seagate ST350031 2CS 500GB
Hitachi GST Deskstar E7K500 HDS725050KLA360 500GB

Anything that could possibly help will be a massive help.

The reason i posted in this section was because i wasn't getting a BSOD, it was new hardware that wasn't computing. The problem is now fixed and it was due to a Nvidia driver causing my GPU to spike to 87 degrees and crash out, the latest driver update stabilized this driver and it is working fine now with no crashes.
