Hello!

Got a tip from a friend that this is the place that will solve all my problems!

I bought a new computer in parts for my brother (see spec below) and we instantly had a quite irritating problem. The computer could all of a sudden freeze completely or reboot without a warning or bsod. It could happend both when playing games or just chillin' on the web with one tab open. It could happend anything from twice a day to once every three days.

We have tried overheating the CPU and GPU and that doesn't seem to be the problem. We have updated the chipset, graphics driver and SSD hard drive to its newest drivers. We have also checked device manager for missing drivers.

Each and every time we get the following error when checking logs:
EventID: 41
Task Category: 63
Level: Critical
Keywords: (2)

The computer spec is:
AMD Athlon II X4 860K 95W, FM2+

Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-DS2 mATX

Crucial 8GB (2x4GB) CL9 1600Mhz Ballistix Sport

SSD 120GB OCZ Arc 100

ASUS RADEON R7 260X OC 2GB

Fractal Design Tesla R2 500W 80+ Gold

We really appreciate all help to get a rid of this.

Thank you and have a nice evening.

This is a laptop, correct? If so, have you tried underheating it with an external usb-powered or ac-powered notebook cooling assembly [comes w/one giant fan or twin fans], includes extra usb ports [since it takes one from the laptop].

Take voltages from the BIOS because your 3.3v and 12v rails are way off in that.

Your voltages look fine but your CPU temperature (65°C) is way too high at idle. Check the fan for dust and give it a good clean out with a soft brush and can of compressed air if it's full of dust. If not you'll need to reapply some thermal paste after cleaning the old stuff off.

Hello,

I was worried about that too but it turned out some bioses could run the cpu for 100% thereby the high temp, I've checked with AMD built in program and another CPU temp program and it all seems fine.

The CPU fan speed is reading zero RPM. Should that be a concern? Have you verified that your CPU fan is spinning?
