Hello, I have a problem, as you may already know: After switching my hard drive out for a new one (Because of what I think to have been a virus), my computer keeps telling me that I have a "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter," when I know I have an "ATI Radeon HD 6480G" graphics card. I've looked for drivers to install for my actual graphic card, but I can't find and; I also am not sure on how to install them. I have no idea how, or why, this happens, although I do know I can't play certain games (I've tried one). Speccy says this about it:

And this is a picture of HW Vendor Detection:

^I guess you're going to have to click it... :(

I also know that before I switched hard drives, my screen resolution went up to 1366x768 (I believe, might have been 1368), and now it only goes up to 1024x768. And if I need to install my drivers or whatever, could I get a link to the driver download and instructions on how to install them? Also, as you might have guessed, it's a laptop. If you need any other computer info, or other info; just let me know. Thanks for the help in advance!

For the drivers you need you have to go to Toshiba,

Drivers & Software Support | Toshiba

You will need the full model number for your laptop. While there also look for chipset drivers, and if available get them and install before the video driver.

According to the website, there are no chipset drivers (At least, I don't know what they're called, and they aren't a choice in the filter), so that means they're unavailable, right? And thanks!

And should I just mark this as solved now?

I installed it, and it seemed successful, but it also seemed to not have any effect on my computer... Should I reboot my computer? And can you tell me what to download from this website: http://support.toshiba.com/support/driversResults?freeText=6B268819W ?

And madcratebuilder, it just tells me that I can't install it because:

ATI Catalyst™ Mobility cannot be downloaded due to
incompatible hardware/software on your computer.

The version of your graphics adapter is not
supported.

Please contact your notebook manufacturer for a
graphics driver update.

And I'm not sure what to make of it.

EDIT: I rebooted my computer, and nothing happened.

Well, as it turned out, the solution was to download and install the latest AMD Catalyst OpenGL 4.3 Beta Driver (Which is stickied at the top of this part of the forum). So if anyone else is having similar problems, I suggest using that; or if you have Nvidia or Intel, use one of the ones below it, labeled respectively to their order.
