What graphics card do you have? Can you remove the power from the PC, remove the side of the case and check for any dust build up in the fan of the GPU. Also do you have any onboard graphics you could use as for testing purposes?

I have a XFX AMD 7850 Radeon. Dust build up might be the issue because i have never cleaned it. And yes my cpu has built in graphics. But as i panicked, I ended up reformatting and the lines are still there.

My first suggestion then would be to remove all power from the PC, take off the side panel and remove the graphics card. Give it a good clean using a soft brush and a can of compressed air, then replace it, reboot and test.

Report back with the results.

The problem was the graphics card, there was surprisingly little to no dust, but the gpu was the problem. The bad part is that the warrantee just ran out , is there a way i could fix it?

The only thing I can think of would be to remove the heatsink and reapply thermal paste in case it was overheating. It's a long shot though and I can't guarantee it will work. It could just be that your card is bad and needs replacing unfortunately.

Try the "Chip Reflowing" method, bake the graphics card in the oven.
