Hi all,
Using win7 x64
For some reason every night at 12am the computer wakes up for no apparent reason.
I've checked the task scheduler quite extensively and can't find anything that is set to go at 12am exactly. I only have three items in my library and 2 of those are disabled.
I looked pretty good in the microsoft section but couldn't find anything.

Any ideas on how to locate this bugger?

Thanks

Did you took a look in the bios ??? (maybe there is a timer in there)

Duh! I should have thought of that. That was the culprit.
On a side note...
While i was in there i noticed that my option to power the system up by mouse or keyboard were disabled.
I used to like that option. Don't know why it's greyed out but i can live without that option i guess.
This gigabyte board has been a disappointment. Found out (after warranty when adding memory) that one of the memory sockets is bad so that restricted me to 4Gb instead of 8 too.

Anyway, thanks for the tip!!

What was the setting in BIOS which solved the problem, so others will know?

It was under the power settings and there was a wake up alarm set for 00:00:00
