Computer will not boot.

After turning on the computer, it goes into a cycle pattern of trying boot up, but is not successful. Could this be a problem finding the MBR? If so, can it be fixed without wiping out all the data?:huh:

OP, need more specifics on the EXACT failure point of the 'boot up'.

If it was no MBR then you would get a can't find operating system error.
