Do you have another Windows 7 laptop that uses that same network ?

If so on that laptop press the Windows logo :orb: key and the Letter R key . You should then get the Run window on the lower left hand side of the screen .

Type in ncpa.cpl press OK or press the Enter key on the Keyboard

You will now see all the network adapters in your machine, right-click on the wireless one and select Status from the context menu.

When the Wi-Fi Status dialog loads up, click on the Wireless Properties button

Click on the Security tab then click on Show characters . That will show you the WiFi password .

Before we do that open up the Device Manager on the laptop that has no Internet . Do you see any of these :warn: there ?

Click on the :orb: .
In the Start Search programs and files box type device manager and then press enter

The PC that is having the issue is a Desktop ? Then it should be plugged into the Router by an Ethernet cable coming from the Ethernet port from your Desktop to the Ethernet Port on the back of the Router numbered 1-4 .

Lets try this way

Click on the bars icon on the sys tray next to the time .

Click the “Open the Network and Sharing Center” from the bottom of the list of available Wi-Fi Networks.

On the Network and Sharing window . Click on Manage wireless connection on the left hand side

Inside the Manage Wireless Connection window right click on your Wireless Network name and choose Properties . You should then get a Security tab . Click that and then click the white box next to Show Characters
