Connect two Win7 with Belkin Easy Transfer Win7

I want to transfer some files (not migration), but fail to get a connection using the Easy Transfer program or Total Commander rc3.

The cable shows in the safe remove list on both pc's, so I think the driver is ok.
The display on the cable lights up and blinks in the middle, so I think the (new) cable is not defect.

Both firewall and anti-virus is Microsoft's. Disable them doesn't help.

Anyone got this to work?
