Connectify - Internet Sharing Made Easy

I figured I'd post about this, I just came across it and it seems quite useful. Basically, it creates an alternative to an Ad-Hoc network. An Ad-Hoc network normally allows you to share an internet connection from one device (ethernet) through another device (wifi card) to any computers in the area.

Connectify actually simplifies and enhances this entire process. Instead of forcing you to use two devices (ethernet/wifi) to share your connection, you can share a wireless internet connection through that very same wifi card.

Another plus is the fact that it doesn't create an actual Ad-Hoc network. It creates a Hotspot which shows up on other computers as a real network. In addition to that, it uses WPA2 encryption and is very easy to set up.

I'm using connectify on my win 7 laptop with ease...its very easy to setup. I connect my wifi enabled android mobile to my laptop & use the laptop's wired internet to surf the net on my mobile.
