Hello Seven Forums. I have been having many problems with my custom built desktop regarding Blue Screen of Deaths. I have been on these forums before with this problem but I was unable to resolve the problem.

The problem is, my computer tends to BSOD when I either start up or shut down but also does it in between after minutes to hours of use. 90% of the time, the message that comes up in my BSOD is "Memory_Management". I have run a memory test using memtest86 but even after 5 passes, no problem was detected. I even bought a brand new 1 TB hard drive and that was not the problem. The odd thing is, when I run a Windows memory test, it states that there are hardware problems but does not describe what it is.

So basically, it seems the problems could be either, my RAM, drivers, or an unknown hardware problem.

Help pinpointing the problem and some tips on resolving it would be amazing. Thank you very much Seven community. You have helped me before and hopefully you will find the kindness to help me for the last time. :)

In an effort to save time and because they are all similar I ran the most current crashes. There are at least 4 different causes.
1-Memory corruption-- I know you have run memtest but you may need run the memory one stick at a time, and the mobo slots one at a time as well
2-Your video driver. You need to remove all traces of your current driver before downloading a new copy.
3-Your AVG is implicated in at least two crashes but it may be just a memory problem surfacing in a different manner. I would un-install just to test, and if you feel you need something else I would recommend Microsoft Security Essentials.
4-I would also run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
(type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>SFC /scannow)

Let us know if you need further assistance with this.

Yep, It looks like to me that this is hardware issue. I don't have much knowledge in this field so I can't give you much advise besides memtestx86. Have you update your motherboard driver as well as newest bios for it. Have you overclocked anything.

In looking through your drivers, I see that you have AVG anti virus installed. AVG is known to cause BSOD, on some systems. I saw it as one of the process running at the time your computer crashed. I suggest that you uninstall it while trouble shooting using the uninstall tool > Info > Tool (32bit) - Tool (64 bit). If you have AVG Identity Protection installed, uninstall it also >Info > Tool[FONT=&quot]. I recommend that you install MSE and make sure Windows Firewall is turned on.

It is possible that AVG use up to much memory

Directx was blamed in one of the dmp file, I would download and install fresh copy of it
Download details: DirectX End-User Runtime

Run this free test:

Just some suggestions for you to try in the meantime

I uninstalled AVG. I have tried installing Microsoft Security Essentials but an error comes up stating that it cannot find the files to install. This is happening with other programs including the Direct X update. I have tried running Windows troubleshooters but an error stops it from opening the toubleshooters. I ran the Windows file repair command and some files could not be repaired so I am in the process of identifying the files and replacing them manually. I will come back with results. Thanks again for helping. I really appreciate it.

I think I might just do another full system re-install. I cannot seem to pinpoint any corrupt files or hardware errors. I will make sure to install MSE and not AVG. Hope for the best. I wont be doing it at this exact moment so if anybody has some final suggestions which could save my computer, I'm open for anything. If not, thank you for the help I have received.
