I've been getting constant blue screens and I'm at my wits end! I'd normally try to fix it myself but I think I've gotten every single error code. From pfn list corrupt to bad pool header and driver irql not less or equal. It crashes when I have too many tabs open (which is around 4 or 5) or whenever I watch higher resolution videos on my compter. Sometimes it seems to crash for just no reason at all. Last night while I was making a video call online it crashed 7 times which is a lot more then normal. I just don't know what to do anymore and I appreciate any help I can get. I've read the posting instruction, used the grab tool and am posting the zip file. Whoever can help me I will cry tears of joy and sing songs of your praises for generations

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

Let us know the results. Also upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

1. Click on the start button
2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

I have run the Furmark for about 10 minutes and 1000 frames. Temperature leveled out and I had no distortion or artifacts. I had kind've hoped it would've been the graphics card because I have a spare just lying around I could've swore I had attached the MSINFO before but here it is again. I have not run the memtest yet but I will run it right after this and will post the results later on. I figured that one would take time so I should give what I have so far.

Update: Ran Memtest for 8 passes as suggested. No errors or noticable problems at all.

Just figured I'd bump my own thread. As I said before no problems with the memtest or furmark. All I can really figure is it is a driver causing all this but I'm not versed enough in computers to figure out which one is the problem. I truly need the help of anyone on here that can tell me which one it is.

If the issue is caused by any driver, there is a wy to find out the failing/weak drivers. Enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

Why Driver Verifier:
It puts a stress on the drivers, ans so it makes the unstable drivers crash. Hopefully the driver that crashes is recorded in the memory dump.

How Can we know that DV is enabled:
It will make the system bit of slow, laggy.

   Warning

Before enabling DV, make it sure that you have earlier System restore points made in your computer. You can check it easily by using CCleaner looking at Tools > System Restore.

If there is no points, make a System Restore Point manually before enabling DV.

   Tip

• If you fail to get on the Desktop because of DV, Boot into Advanced Boot Options > Safe mode. Disable DV there. Now boot normally again, and try following the instruction of enabling DV again.
• If you cannot boot in Safe mode too, do a System Restore to a point you made earlier.

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

Followed the directions in the guide, started verifier and restarted. While the system was booting it crashed. I restarted and attempted to boot it up again with the same results. I was able to boot into safe mode, disabled verified and retrieved the dump files. Here are my most current ones.

Generally it is used by ArcSoft Magic-i. You may try to uninstall the program using the driver and see how it goes.

I'd like to cheer and mark this thread as solved but... Okay well here goes. Did as suggested removed the program and associated driver. To be on the safe side I decided to run Driver Verifier again and this time I made it to the desktop. Sadly it crashed the moment I tried to do something. I repeated this process twice with the same result. I would provide the dump files but each time the blue screen was frozen at "initializing crash dump" and wouldn't finish it. Though each time it did point out nvlddmkm.sys as the driver. Which is the nvidia driver but what I don't understand that if it's the graphics driver after all how come I had no problems with the stress test?

Well that was the scariest 30 minutes of my life! I had installed some updates the night before. When I tried to start the computer today it instantly crashed on the desktop. Tried again same thing. Tried to get a hold of the dump files but the grab tool said access to minidump was denied. Everytime I would physically try going into the dump folder the computer would crash. Attempting to do anything would make it crash within five minutes. I had to boot into safe mode and do a system restore. I have no idea what happened. Now I've still gotten some blue screens and when I try to use the sf tool it gives me an error when trying to get the dump files

Update: It crashes and it says it's making dump files but when I check there is no new files. There is only the previous files from before. I checked the settings and dump files are still enabled. So now it's not making new dumps for all these new crashes.

Self bump again. Still getting bsod's but not as frequent. Removing arcsoft program and driver did lessen the screens but did not remove them. Bad thing now is now my system isn't making new dump files. The only thing different then before was I added a second stick of ram BUT I ran memtest on it as well with no issues. It's beginning to look like these blue screens are going to become a part of my everyday life.

Go to Option Two, Point 2. Download the .reg file and merge it in registry by double clicking it.

Now wait for another BSOD. When it occurred, search the .dmp files manually in the default path: C:\Windows\Minidump or %SystemRoot%\Minidump. See if the crash dump is recorded or not (hopefully it will be recorded).Post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

Followed your steps, downloaded the .reg file, and merged it twice. First time I merged it a blue screen quickly followed and there was no dump file. Merged it a second time, restarted my computer, and then waited for a blue screen. At this point I've gone through 4 bsod's and not a single dump file has been made. It was enabled before and it's still enabled now after the registry merge but still nothing. I have no clue what to do at this point.

Just an update. It's been a few days, multiple crashes, and zero dumps. I checked all I could but I can't find a reason for it. I can't really analyze anything without the dumps.

The blue screens have been happening constantly but they still seem to be random. I crashed 3 times just googling movie times yet was watching some movies with little crashes. Over the past few days there have been plenty of crashes. I had a hard time capturing a picture because I never knew when one would occur. I've looked everywhere for a reason why my system isn't creating dumps anymore but I can't figure it out. I've changed nothing to my hardware or software since the last time. Here are some images i was able to catch. Oh I must also mention I received new error codes. Ones I hadn't received before they are bugcode_usb_driver and one crash mentioned a usbport.sys as the culprit.

Those are seeming to stop 0x8E BSOds, and it says physical memory dump complete? So there should be crash dumps?

Yes there SHOULD be crash dumps. I realize that. The fact of the matter is that there is NO crash dumps. I've checked the save location of the dumps and it's still set to default. I've physically checked the folder and there is nothing there. I've checked alternate folders and still nothing. I ran memtest again and still no errors. I will run furmark at some point but for the time being I've had two more crashes making it 4 or 5 now since my last post. My bios is from 2008 but I have no clue where to find a newer version and honestly I'm a bit scared to try updating it. I will add the two new crashes which are completely different from before. I'd like to add that before this I had updated my ethernet controller driver. Seeing afd.sys being the culprit of the last crash I decided to rollback to my previous driver. Sadly, after I rolled back my ethernet slot was working fine but I couldn't connect to the internet until I returned to the updated driver. I am back to the updated driver and working internet.

Edit: Didn't want to put a new image but I found this blue screen (which just happened 5 minutes ago0 very interesting. Never have I received this error before

If you are 100% sure that memtest results in no error, and still it is generating so many versatile bugchecks, I would suspect the board itself. If it has a BIOS of 2008, Motherboard Specifications, MCP61PM-HM (Iris8) | HP® Support is not pointing to any update to it.

I apologize for the late response. Holidays and all. I shall update you on the current state of my computer. I ran a 3rd memtest for 9 passes and still no errors. I ran furmark for 30 mins a second time, it leveled out at around 60 degrees and never rose. No artifacts or instability BUT I do have a very low fps. I was still getting blue screens with various codes a new one I'm getting is 0x0000050, 0x000001A, and 0x000000A. On a good note my computer is creating dumps again! I ran chkdsk on my drive and it mentioned making a temporary paging file. It had recommended 3069 mb's and I had previously set it to 4000 mb's yet my page file wouldn't go past 2000-ish. I deleted a lot of things and freed up about 20gb's and now after the recent crash I've gotten a dump file! With the return of my dump files I believe after this post I'm going to run verifier and see what I can get. What I don't understand is that I thought small memory dumps didn't require the page file? I thought the page file was required to be higher for kernel dumps and above?
