When copying a text with a link in a mail and paste it in a new mail, the link doesn't work anymore. You get an url like : wlmailhtml:{187F26DE-1F6B-4D56-A48B-26B23B16A17B}mid://00000603/!x-usc:http://www......... .
Somebody an explanation herefor ?
It's very annoying to remake the links everytime.

Do you have a second email account you can test? like Gmail, yahoo or anything else?
I'm curious to see if it's only windows live mail or your Internet Explorer

I sent it to my brother to check it. When he hits the links, his IE8 opens with the message that the link is invalid.
Maybe this helps you ?

try running IE8 without addons. Or try disabling IE bars ex: google search, yahoo search... things like that.

It has nothing to do with IE I think !
You can see the (unusable) link already in WLM before it's even sended (attach).
