CORSAIR RAM Compatability

Hello there,

I'm currently using a twin set Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) RAM (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B). But one the stick got a badmem after tested with memtest.

So now I'm left with 1 stick of 4GB only. And the question is, is it OKAY if I buy and mix with another same brand and same model of RAM but it's the single stick version (CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9B)?
