Hello,

I am not in a domain environment. I have a server box running Datacenter 2008 R2. I have 3 shares that I am mapping to my machine that do not require credentials when mapping. On boot I always receive "Could not reconnect all network drives" notification/bubble.

Things I have attempted:
1. Enable in gpedit > Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon AND Run logon scripts synchronously
2. Attempted to create a logon script to remove and remap the drives (in vbs, failed)
3. Set a static IP address on wireless interface
4. Create DWORD "RestoreDiskChecked" in HKEY _CURRENT_USER > Network
5. Input server credentials in Windows Credential Manager of "servername\user" and password
6. Verified on server side that Everyone, Admins, and Users have full control of all shares
7. Disabled on server all Password protected sharing in advanced sharing settings

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Open to workarounds, just want the pop up gone.

Hi there,

Usually when you have a Windows Server you'll have to configure the Server Roles to DHCP and DNS, have you configured it this way?

No I have the router servicing DHCP and DNS.

I'd suggest for you to configure the Server Roles - DNS and DHCP Servers, this might possibly resolve your issue just based on my experience dealing with Windows Servers. I don't configure the router to be the DNS and DHCP, they do play big roles in Windows Server to ensure that your network is properly setup.
