If I was a betting man I'd say that the C drive is a recovery partition.

It's certainly too small for Windows 7 - Microsoft recommend 20GB minimum.

Have a look at this tutorial relating to disk management: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/93322-partition-wizard-use-bootable-cd.html

mrdemon, you'd be well advised to remove your e-mail address from post #16 before the spammers have a field day - many of these threads appear on Google frequently.

One day I booted up my comp & My HDD was Partitioned into 2 Parts. My C: Drive Also my Boot Drive has Windows 7 on it while The other Half of my HDD My F: Drive has all my files on it. I was wondering how I could Merge these to Together without hurting or losing anything on my comp? Thanks in advance

Well this was interesting if not a little Dodgy.

I can also tell you the Quotation is Incorrect. It was not One day he found it like this its always been like it.

So I get to the Lads PC watching what he had and telling him how to get this DONE, before this he made me wait for 35 min's for him to return to what ever he was doing, said his MIC was not working but I could hear him very clearly and quite clear(Later on he Covers up the MIC to dampen any sound). While waiting I noticed that he was "Hacking" his Xbox and also that the COPY of Windows 7 was not Legit as the "Genuine" prompt came up. So eventuly he came back and I got him to start moving his Data onto the Shrunk "G" drive (End of "F"). Then he started getting all confused so I took over and moved the Boot files and everything went over OK.

The thing is I Forgot to do the "bcdboot C:\Windows /s G:" part in CMD, And i think he now buggered.

When you get back and if you get back. Please Do not Use a Illegal COPY of windows 7 as WE ALL (I HOPE) use Legit copy and have it installed Properly.

By engaging in collaborative advice on the forum the original poster hopefully gets their question answered but many others via their search engine.

Did you do an install of Vista (takes awhile!) or did you enter Vista into the BCD - quick and all you get is a Vista boot option that doesn't work?

I gave you advice back in post#15 that summarized your problem with your Windows 7 installation. I didn't tell you to install Vista.
Some of the advice appears to have been given off line.

At this stage I would recommend you start from scratch with a clean install of Windows 7.

I agree entirely.

It would save a lot of wasted time and unnecessary hassle.
