This is my mates PC, he got five blue screens in a row when booting his PC, so I got him to start in safe mode and send me the .dmps over MSN

There were 50 dumps in total since 2009, but could someone analyse the recent ones from today and let me know how to fix them? Tempted to clean install for him really

Oh yeah, his system specs I am not too sure about :S

I'll try to get them, I know he's got an Asus processor, Vista x86 Home Premium, I'll try to find exact details

I'm not as good with Vista BSODs but I will edit this post when I am done running the dumps.

EDIT:

Your network drivers are blamed a lot, so I recommend updating your Ralink 802.11n Wireless Adapter Drivers.

I also would like to blame Kaspersky for these network problems. Please remove it with this tool: http://support.kaspersky.com/downloads/utils/kavremover10.zip

Replace it with the free Microsoft Security Essentials: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials

Remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: http://www.duplexsecure.com/en/downloads

Ask him to remove Daemon Tools or whatever other CD/DVD virtualization programs he has. They use a driver, SPTD.sys that is notorious for causing BSODs.

Use this tool to remove STPD after the programs are removed: DuplexSecure - Downloads
