Solved CPU 100% in every game

That on chip graphics solution is at best entry level compared to a dedicated card, shared system Ram means it will hoover up system memory for texturing, also the GPU is fairly poor for games (unless your still stuck in the year 2002), therefore the GPU will be taking a lot of the strain doing the maths.

Certainly lowering the resolution and texturing, AA and the like will make a good improvement but it's never going to be a gaming lappy. Good for surfing and general usage.

BTW 4GB is the max mem on that board so no advantage to be gained from going 64 bit.

has it ever occured to maybe switch to 64 bit win 7 add more ram and the CPU usage will probably drop

that is if you feel like spending some money for an upgrade and if you have a OEM windows even better get rid of all that useless junk that comes with the laptop from the maker

But finding driver might be the hard part since you are using a 9400m GPU but some research you could get it working alot more efficient with more ram and a 64bit windows
Actually I never thought of that but wouldn't that be bad since the previous windows from Acer that I had was Windows Vista 32bits? I'm just saying because I am not a computer geek, i'm not sure if that would be the right choice.

well if you read a couple post up it would render no solution because your chipset is limited the only other alternitive at this point is to start looking into a laptop that is decent enough to play what you want

If your not looking for intense games or super intense for that matter then you can get a lappy with Intel HD graphics or even go AMD APU's

it would be much cheaper a better solution and most of todays laptops come in 64bit so you can get the max out of your lappy

The thing is I am not planning to buy another computer so soon, not until this one stops working. Like I said previously the only games that I play in this laptop are Need for Speed World and Counter-Strike 1.6, the other games I play on my PS3.

Alright computer temps, if Razer Game Booster is saying the truth my CPU is at 88ºC, GPU at 80ºC and harddisk at 40ºC (all this while gaming and using the laptop cooler, keep in mind that my computer is charging all the time without the battery). Sounds like overheating to me but that doesn't explain the CPU usage at 100% right?

Forgive me, but it does to me, looking at my previous post, the machine is at full tilt and simply cannot physically do more or run better.
Try lowering the in game detail and res.

I am already playing at the lowest resolution (800x600) with the lowest graphics, there is nothing else I can do. Which options do I still have?

Anyone can still help me with this? In terms of game performance I made some big improvements by changing some values in the config file but the CPU usage still remains...
