CPU temperature

the temperature in my first screen shot is the idling. but look at the max. it reached 84 on windows experience index. now i am siiting in front of a table fan and while doing this i am getting 37-40.
i have ordered a cooling pad. looks like my laptop configuration is high for a 14 inch. i just want to make sure that there isn't any other fault.

So long as the components themselves are not downclocking/throttling from all that heat, you're in the clear!

Try installing/running a few games to test out the stability of your cpu and graphics card together also if you want to be sure.

i tried playing tom clancy future soldier. didnot see the temperature but it was hot. i didnot like the game so i uninstalled it. thank you so much. i will see today in the AC room.

the temperature went up to 95 degrees in an ac room at 20 degrees. i went to the hp service center and he told thats its too high. they took it and will diagnose for some problem.

ok today i got it replaced with dv6-7011tx. the only difference the ivy processor.
