Solved CPU Thermometer

I was curious if anyone else had this program installed. I am wanting to uninstall it, but it does not show in my Control Panel under Programs and Features. If anyone else has it, does it show in yours? Thanks,

Go to System Information for Windows and look under CPU sensors which shows temps...

Guys, you all have me scratching my head now. -- I don't think any of you told me if it showed in your Programs and Features so it could be uninstalled. Did I miss something?

I downloaded and started the install to find the install location.
I didn't install it. Don't want it or need it.

Just trying to help you find it.

I appreciate the help. I know where it is installed in Programs and can see the CPU Thermometer folder. I just can't see the program in the Control Panel so that I can uninstall it. I don't want to just delete the folder.

If you don't have any luck there, you might try Advanced Uninstaller: http://www.innovative-sol.com/

I use it a lot (v10.1.1 free edition is what I have) and I think it's a great program.

I use it a lot (v10.1.1 free edition is what I have) and I think it's a great program.

I am having a lot of luck correcting this problem, unfortunately it is all bad. I tried a couple different sites and never could get it to download. Thanks anyway.

Thanks guys for all of your help. I think at this point I will just forget about it and let it stay there. I try to keep my life frustations to a minimum.

One thing you might try.

Some software has the uninstaller/repair tool built into the original download.

The first time you Open the download file it installs it. Once it is installed if you open the download again the Install wizard, which this software did have, will offer uninstall and repair options.

Worth a look. Double click or right click then open as if you were going to install. Then if it shows uninstall, select and go with the prompts.

Just tried emailing the developer of this program. The email bounced:

Well I installed it. Then deleted directly from Program Files(x86). Then deleted the short cut in the Start menu.
Then deleted the download.

Nothing blew up.
Ran my registry checker one CPU Therm was left. Removed. Ccleaner will do that. Just select the Cpu Therm ones only to fix.

I have run into this a couple of times with bloatware on a pre installed operating system & was able to uninstall the software from the installer folder.

If you type installer in the "run" command & select ok.
Then right click on the columns bar & then check Authors.
Your software installer may now be visible in this folder so you can uninstall it from here by right clicking on it.

I use Core Temp (freeware) Windows 7 ready! (x86 and x64) gives you the temp of each CPU Core in your task bar Single, Dual, Quad, and you can customise the background and number colours, right click on one of the numbers and you can bring up Core Temps Control Panel >

Core Temp > Core Temp

Are you needing it to check temps of your cores or the temps of burgers?
It is important you check both of them as it effects the life expectancy of both.
