CPU Usage

My computer is just idling with nothing open except my Brower while posting this. My CPU is at 50% usage and has been for a many hours that I'm aware of. Task manager said no processes are running my network isn't doing anything so why would my CPU be running at 50%? I'm also using about 30% more power.

In Task Manager go to the Processes tab and make sure "Show processes from all users" is checked. Then click the CPU column header and it should show you what is using your CPU. You might want to post a screenshot here.
