Crash everytime I go in Sleep mode

What would Freak Squad do? The first thing they would likely do is just re-install Windows and call it fixed.

P.S. Could you please post a screen shot of GPU-Z with it at idle. Then load a game or something that puts a load on the GPU, then back in GPU-Z on the Sensors tab set both the core and memory clock to show the highest reading from the dropdowns and post a screen shot of that too.

Yeah, I knew Freak Squad would do nothing, I actually ment what could Dell do. Anyway, here are some pictures of GPU-Z.

New problem, not relating with BSOD though. I can't run Minecraft - It says it cant find an Accelerated OpenGL mode.

EDIT: Oh and then Java stops responding and crashes.

That game may noy put much load on the card, but it is enough to show that it is running at the reference clocks of 850/1200 (2400 effective).

If you haven't make sure you have the latest version of Java installed,

Download Free Java Software

And you please post a screen shot of the main tab from GPU-Z.

Nice to see based on the driver version showing in the screen shot that Dell isn't even using WHQL official drivers as what is shown all points to the Catalyst 9.10 beta and release candidate versions (that isn't to say that Dell may have submitted them to be WHQL'ed, but I doubt it),

8.660 (Catalyst 9.10) 18/09/09 - techPowerUp! Forums

The 10.11 showing is there probably because that would be the last driver you had installed, and that registry key doesn't get deleted (doesn't hurt anything, despite something like Driver Sweeper that would remove it). It only changes when you install a newer version.

That driver may also be why you are now having Java and OpenGL problems. With that said seeing as things are other than that stable (or appear to be at least) uninstall the Dell driver and give this one a try,

AMD Catalyst 10.10e Hotfix

it is newer than the 10.11 and contains a few fixes that didn't make it into the 10.11. Before you start create a restore point as it will make it easier to go back if the 10.10e causes problems (not quite the same as your 5770, but they have been working no problem on my 4830).

Going to have to wait for one of the crash guys for that report.

In the mean time if you're feeling up to it I found an updated driver for the card from Dell,

Drivers and Downloads

It isn't newer than the 10.10e, but it is a fair bit newer than the Dell one you had before

Well, before you posted that I started a system restore to a week ago before I was having as many problems. I used Windows Update to upgrade drivers because of some problems I was having. Form what I can remember this is when my problems started with sleep mode. So, I went back to then and so far I'm looking alright but if anymore problems occur or if the issues start back up again I will try your method with a new dell driver and post results. So please don't unsubscribe from this thread so if anymore problems occur I can ask all you smart people here. Thanks for your great help, it was very much appreciated and I sure hope it doesn't happen again.

I used Windows Update to upgrade drivers
Oops. Been said before and will be said again, don't ever update video card drivers (unless it is for Intel graphics) or any other major system driver (chipset, audio, etc) through Windows Update. It may have come a long way, but updating those through WU can (and from what you experienced still do) cause problems. Always get them from the hardware/device manufacturer when you can.

As far as the actual driver goes, not really unless you want to compare the driver version as it is shown in something like GPUZ. As far as any differences between them the actual driver files will depend on version will be identical, Dell can't touch those. What Dell can and most likely does do, is make changes to the the various INF and INI files (sets the registry settings among other things) that are used when the driver is installed. That is how Dell and others can set limits on what the card and or drivers can do.

I upgraded my power supply from 350W to 700W so I should have no issue when upgrading to the ATI 500W drivers. I'll be trying it either tonight or tomorrow evening and will be posting the results.

I've gotten alot of BSOD's lately. I did just install 2 USB 3.0 cards, I REALLY hope those rnt causing the problem. I also upgraded my drivers from 350W to 500W now that I have 700W power. Here are 3 BSOD logs:

The first 2 BSOD happend out of the blue running the 350W driver with a 700W power.
View attachment 131260

View attachment 131261

These next two happened when going into sleep mode with a 500W driver and 700W power.

The reports came up with this. Cant find anything in Google. Sometimes that means a virus.
Make a full anti virus scan and download malwarebytes and make a full scan.
Update both first. I will reseach further to see what I can find.

STOP 0x00000119: VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR

Usual causes: Video driver/sub-system

If the scans come up negative make sure that all graphics drivers are up to date.

EDIT I have been advised that the driver is some sort of adapter. We should always do a virus scan, so this is a good time to do it, anyway. I think that the scan will be negative. If that is the case update all your video drivers.

The problem happens when my video card driver is up to date. When its an old one that doesn't run that fast (Dell's 350W driver) it has no problems (other than the first 2 BSOD .zips I posted) . I will run Malwarebytes and MSE and report back when they are done.

Many times the solution to a BSOD is to roll back to a previous version.

Many times the solution to a BSOD is to roll back to a previous version.
I cant roll back my driver for some reason. What I have done is done system restore back to Dell 350W driver.

The problem that stormy thought it was si the fact that Dell puts a 350W PSU and ATI needs 500W PSU. I upgraded to 700W PSU, upgraded to ATI's 500W drivers and still had the BSOD on sleep and screen saver issue. Why do suppose that is? It can't be a power issue... can it? I did system restore back to Dells driver and the sleep mode issue is fixed its just that with Dell's outdated driver my graphics don't run as fast and my 3rd monitor can't get proper refresh rate. When I had ATI's 500W driver everything was faster I just had the sleep problem (BSOD 3.zip and BSOD 4.zip form previous post). Wilr running Dells 350W driver I had 2 other BSOD (bsod 119 and bsod 119 2.zip form previous post). When 'bsod 119.zip' happend my speakers went crazy and my screen flashed green a few times. That's a sum up of what has happened for new readers or if someone here needs to refresh there memory.

Had a similar problem after windows updated the ATI driver, PC crashed everytime I would walk away from it.. Uninstalled ATI drivers, boot to safe mode ran Driver Sweeper, rebooted and loaded the latest ATI 12-12 drivers. It works great now.
