Hello all,

I am in the process of creating a windows 7 image to be deployed to multiple customers all over the country with 5 different flavors of machines.

In the past with Windows XP, I created the image, create a C:\Drivers directory with all the drivers included, copy the golden profile over to the default, sysprep, and create the image file using Acronis.

I have figured out how to copy the profile over with WSIM, by creating a unattend.xml.

But now I can not get the image to pump the appropriate drivers to the machine.

I am working with Optiplex 755,960, Latitude D630,E6400,E6410.

Anyone have any thoughts?

First welcome to SevenForums.

Now here is the big gloss over:

Download, install, run the Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK).

Read, study the CHM files and use DISM to create a WIM file with all of the needed drivers.

That said, this first time will be a learning experience. I recommend viewing some of the fine technet/msdn/microsoft videos on creating such a wim file and including the necessary license info.
