Hi,

I am hoping someone has the answer for my problem as I have searched everywhere and tried a lot to fix the issue. The issue I have is that I don't have any Bass control or Bass Boost options available. I have tried removing the drivers many different ways even in safe mode and even used driver sweeper and repeated the steps several times and installed the OEM drivers from the cd which had a nice interface for the audio but didnt seem to work when i enabled anything. Once I update the drivers it removes the old control panel and audio console and just replaces it with the creative control panel which has all the other options for EAX, equalizer etc but nothing for Bass Boost or adjust the Bass setting. I know it was there before upon installing the drivers from the CD, so why has it gone now?
I have contacted Creative and they were of no use, all they gave me was links to their drivers. Is there a problem with creative drivers? Ive noticed a similar issue I had with my previous Audigy ZS card where I lost the nice creative mixer and was stuck with just the windows mixer but was fine as I at least had access to the bass and treble controls which I am more interested in.

I hope someone can help as this is a new card and I have tried all the drivers. Also the update program is kind of confusing as it also picks up an older driver as well as new and highlight both as critical which doesn't make sense to install the older 1 then new but I tried that way and even avoided it another time when I was going through the process which didn't work. No matter how many times i uninstalled/reinstalled the drivers I seem to be getting nowhere.
I am now at a wits end as to why this feature is missing and what can I do?

Please help :(

Are you sure you have the right drivers for it? The problem with Creative is that the drivers are absolute crap, they are pain to install and work with.

Yeah I am sure the drivers are correct as I have both used the creative software updater to get the new drivers and ive also manually downloaded from the creative website and confirmed they are the same.

What you're looking for is the Console Launcher. Go back to the Creative download page and click on "beta application", and download the,

Creative Console Launcher (Beta) 2.61.49

which is about 3 years newer than the last official version.
