CSM initialization Error with RAM

OK, when I am overclocking my ram I am able to reach DDR3 2296 however when I go pass DDR3 2300+ I get the following error code 79 which is CSM initialization.

Question 1

Does anyone know what CSM initialization is?

Question 2

What bios setting do I need to do to push past this to keep overclocking?

From the thread: CSM means Compatibility Support Mode. Q Code 79 could mean (just guessing) that you have connected some device, that UEFI cannot cope with. Besides, when having 4 Memory Modules you should allways set 2T instead of 1T in Memory section of UEFI !.

Have it set to T2 already. I have seen that post before and it has nothing to do with overclocking. It was just someone haveing issues with trying to get ram that is recommended for the mb working as designed.

An error code is an error code. If you don't think it's relevant, then I'd like to know what you think it is. You see, had you read the whole thread, you'd see that the OP had to buy a new processor.

So, simple deduction, I don't know how much you are overclocking your processor, but judging by how much you are trying to overclock your ram, it's quite a bit. When you get to that threshold, you are putting the cpu into a fault state.

My opinion. I guess you could always email asustek support and ask them.
