I guess the alternative here is just buying a usb bluetooth dongle (if i can find one that aparents to be good and not a crap).

Some good dongles can be found on TrendNet site and you will have aswell the right drivers CSR Bluetooth Radio. I bought the TBW-106UB recently. It works well at the moment. It got Bluetooth v2.0 Class 1 + EDR usb 2.0 (Enhanced Data Rate), works on x86 and X64.
good helpful post

Thanks for the rep!:)

ok news update, after a format, i did a backup of o.s. and tested out bluesoleil

the results:

Ok it used some ivt driver instead windows, i was wrong. Bluesoleil thou didn't work much, it keeped crashing, found the device but could not pair it etc.

I then removed bluesolei but the driver remained (leaving my usb bluetooth stick useless).

Gladly i had the backup... applied and with the windows driver it's working (thou those problems will surellly come up soon)

Did you tried Widcomm drivers? I know some recent drivers are not free any more but some older will work and win7 will update.

Is your usb bluetooth Key v1.0/1.1 or even better v2.0/2.1.

You're telling, you're using windows native bluetooth...are they the broadcom one?

So

I tried widcomm, not detected my device ;_;

The native windows picks from update is CSR's.

At this rate I'm thinking my device has some hardware problem, it's pretty much like it *crashes* with everything that works on it.

Windows stacker manages to pair stuff once, then on second comes an error and i only managed to pair again (in the same usb slot) by disable-> enable bluetooth usb key. Therefore hanging in a second sync.

For bluesoleil (wich i had very good references from loads of ppz) it crashs on first pair up, it's instersting that after first attempt to pair bluesoleil will loose any control of the device (can't even disable it for example).

Of course that if I change the usb slot, bluesoleil will find it, start it and hang on first sync.

I tested the wildcomm after that (so it should be hanged in my o.s.) so later on i'll try wildcomm after an image apply and see what happens (and i bet that if the driver get installed i'll have the same hanging process). Anyways, worth a try.

So far I pretty much think I luckily got an defective hardware in my hands =.=

I'll post about the wildcomm latters, gotta work ;)
